Radio London Interviews Bilbo

This interview was conducted on Radio London (260 MW and 94.9 FM) one a week before "She's Gonna Win" was released and just before their appearance at London's Rock Garden on 9th August.

The interview is conducted in two stages, the first (after hearing "She's Gonna Win") has Colin and Fid chatting with the presenter. The second stage, after hearing "I Can Feel Mad", we hear Brian and Tosh. The whole interview is rounded off with "You Wanna Be Your Lover". The whole interview (including music) lasts just over 22 minutes - which leaves about 15 minutes of actual discussion.

Stage 1 - Colin and Fid (7 mins 31 secs)

Colin talks about the history and the various roles within the band. The interviewer also suggests that they are a band with personality. Colin responds by discussing about the structure of their music.

Fid tells about his name and what he plays.

They both talk about the differences between English and Scottish bands and how easy it is to break into the big time.

Stage 2 - Brian and Tosh (7 mins 11 secs)

Brian is asked about his writing and the writing process of writing. He says that he writes constantly, leaving tracks that are not working, possibly to return to them later.

Gordon is asked about the band's line up. He also says that if the latest single is a hit then an album will follow, with most of the tracks already recorded. Gordon states that one of his favourite bands is The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

They both answer why Tam Paton is no longer the band's manager.
