Fan Club News Letter - November 1975

NEWSLETTER

Well, here it is at last, your first newsletter.

Over the past couple of months the boys have been kept busy recording their new single, called "BACK HOME", which should find its way into the shops on Friday, 26th December, 1975.

The group feel that this is the most exciting record they have made yet, and I hope this is the one to bring them the success they deserve. Incidentally, those of you who have seen Bilbo live on stage will recognise the B side, which is called "WHAT'S GOING ON", and was written by the group.

If you are one of the unfortunates, who have not yet managed to see the boys perform live, you may have the opportunity soon, as the group are soon to embark on a nationwide concert tour with MUD.
The venues this takes in are as follows:-

Saturday, 29th November - Davenport Theatre STOCKPORT
Sunday, 30th November - Theatre Royal NEWCASTLE
Monday, 1st December - A.B.C. HULL
Tuesday, 2nd December - Market Hall CARLISLE
Thursday, 4th December - Capitol ABERDEEN
Friday, 5th December - Caird Hall DUNDEE
Saturday, 6th December - Odeon EDINBURGH
Sunday 7th December - Apollo GLASGOW
Tuesday 9th December - Theatre SOUTHPORT
Thursday, 11th December - De Montfort Hall LEICESTER
Friday, 12th December - Odeon BIRMINGHAM
Saturday 13th December - New Vic LONDON
Sunday 14th December - Gaumont IPSWICH
Monday 15th December - Theatre Royal NORWICH

The boys will be appearing on "SUPERSONIC" and "LOOK ALIVE" in December, so if you don't make any of the tour dates, that will be some consolation. They will also be on the new series of "45", which starts in January.

In the past, I have received letters from some of you who have had difficulty in getting copies of BILBO records. Well, the only way I know to overcome that, is to ask your record shop to order the record for you. If you tell them the label, title and record number, there should be no problem.

The new Bilbo Baggins single is on the POLYDOR label, the title is "BACK HOME", and the number is 2058 667.

The boys say to thank everyone for the letters they've sent in, and of course for joining their fan club, and they hope to see you all soon.
